Subsequently, offering your contact information can help ease the transition.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Is_it_ok_to_resign_via_email\"><\/span>Is it ok to resign via email?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\">Yes, it is completely okay to resign via email. In fact, some companies require that resignations are handed in writing and so in cases where you\u2019re working distantly or remotely, it is a good way to hand it in. But on a more personal note, where you have worked with a company for a long time or have close relationships with your colleagues, it is best to resign in person and hand in your resignation then.
