How do you resign as a Director of a company?
A director who wishes to resign from his office can do so by submitting a written notice to the Board of Directors of a company. This can be via email or a written email as well.
A copy of the resignation letter should also be sent to the registrar of companies along with the reason, 30 days from the date of resignation submission. The director could also be required to submit other required documents along with this.
Additionally, regional laws might require a few additional steps to be followed.
