The operating challenge

Standard workflows still needed room for complex exceptions.

Admissions agreements varied for staff children and other fee structures, while commercial documents such as NDAs and service agreements required a different set of review and approval rules.

  1. 01

Select the right admissions terms for staff-child and standard agreements.

  2. 02

Collect missing parent data without returning to disconnected forms.

  3. 03

Route commercial agreements through legal and finance before signature.

What was implemented

A Microsoft Excel logic engine connected to iSAMS and Microsoft 365.

Structured Excel data and logic determine the correct document path, iSAMS provides admissions context, and Zegal governs data requests, approvals, generation and signing across both workflow families.

01

Microsoft Excel logic

Excel provides the controlled calculation and decision layer for agreement variations.

02

iSAMS connection

Student data can populate admissions agreements from the school’s source system.

03

Parent data requests

Missing information is collected inside the agreement journey.

04

Commercial approvals

NDAs and service agreements route to the relevant reviewers before signature.

The operational result

A clearer process, with the evidence kept inside it.

Dulwich established one governed layer for distinct admissions and commercial workflows while keeping the Microsoft and iSAMS environment its teams already used.

We have truly, finally gone digital! I’m looking forward to seeing this rolled out in HR and procurement teams too.
