The operating challenge

Every agreement depended on the right discount and signing path.

Sibling, staff, scholarship and other discount types made manual drafting vulnerable to error. The school also needed a parent liaison and principal step before the family completed the agreement.

  1. 01

Calculate the correct combination of discounts for each family.

  2. 02

Collect missing parent information inside the agreement journey.

  3. 03

Keep the liaison, principal and parent signing sequence in the right order.

What was implemented

A fee engine connected to an orchestrated signing path.

Microsoft Excel handles the underlying fee logic, while Zegal turns the result into the correct agreement and moves it through data collection, initialing and sequential completion.

01

Discount engine

Structured Excel logic calculates fees using the applicable discount type.

02

Request data

Parents can supply missing information inside the agreement process.

03

Clause initialing

Important terms can require an explicit initial before completion.

04

Signing sequence

The agreement follows the required liaison, principal and parent order.

The operational result

A clearer process, with the evidence kept inside it.

Admissions staff gained a single workflow for fee calculation, parent data and completion instead of manually coordinating each moving part.

Our discount structure is complex. Zegal handled the logic perfectly, so our admissions team just has to click ‘Send’.
