The operating challenge

Annual contracting had become a critical dependency.

Singapore’s EduTrust requirements meant every student needed a renewed agreement each year. Variable fees, scholarships and discounts added complexity, while the existing hard-coded process depended on one internal developer.

  1. 01

Generate and manage more than 1,500 student agreements each year.

  2. 02

Apply changing fees, scholarships and discounts consistently.

  3. 03

Remove the operational risk of relying on one person to maintain the workflow.

What was implemented

A governed process connected to the school’s source data.

Zegal connected iSAMS and Funnel data to a cloud workflow that admissions teams could operate without coding, while giving the school a supported platform for future changes.

01

Connected data

Student and admissions data flows into the agreement process from the systems already in use.

02

Bulk generation

Agreements can be created in cohorts instead of drafted one student at a time.

03

Team-owned rules

Admissions can update fees and terms without rebuilding a hard-coded internal tool.

04

Sustainable support

A maintained SaaS platform replaces a workflow dependent on one internal developer.

The operational result

A clearer process, with the evidence kept inside it.

Nexus gained a repeatable annual process with clear support ownership, less manual administration and a more sustainable route for future change.

For us, it was really about making the solution sustainable… having a proper company run this, someone who we can go back to for redevelopment and support, so we are not reliant on one single person within the school.
